We operate a number of licences allowing local groups and clubs to enjoy the Estate’s green spaces for outdoor activities and to pursue their hobbies.

Our licence holders enjoy a diverse range of leisure pursuits, meet some of the groups and clubs below.

Tonbridge Radio Flyers

The Tonbridge Radio Flyers have been using a site at Somerhill since 2004 and meet every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday to fly their model planes. The group was first formed in 1967 by a small group of dedicated areomodellers with the aim of bringing together people of similar interests in the Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells and Sevenoaks areas. http://tonbridgeradioflyers.bmfa.org

Invicta Gun Club

Invicta is a Helice shooting ground near the A21 on the Hadlow Estate which hosts various shooting events, including local, national and international competitions. Helice shooting is a form of competitive clay pigeon shooting and claims to be one of the most challenging shooting disciplines there is!

The club hosts a variety of ‘have a go’ days where you can test your skills for yourself, with beginners very welcome. https://invictahelice.co.uk

Tonbridge District Angling Society

A wide section of the River Medway, up and down stream of the Hartlake Bridge, is used by the Tonbridge District Angling Society. This section is also occasionally used as a venue for open and league matches. There has been Carp in this section of the river for over 100 years and there are also plenty of smaller fish, including Bleak, Gugeon and Perch. https://www.tonbridge-angling.co.uk/river-medway-hartlake/
