We are home to a number of listed buildings, including historic timber framed farmhouses, the oldest of which dates back to the 15thcentury. There are traditional farmsteads, with barns and oast houses, dotted across the estate, as well as attractive Victorian farm cottages, built under the stewardship of Sir Julian Goldsmid, as part of the estate’s improvement and expansion.
We are currently refurbishing several of our listed buildings as part of a careful ongoing repair and conservation programme. We aim to maintain and enhance our properties whilst sensitively renovating them to meet the needs of modern living, so that they combine period character with comfort. This work and our ongoing maintenance programme is overseen by our full time property maintenance team.
