Our diversification into renewable energy has been substantial in recent years.
We believe the Estate should seek to adopt new technologies where possible, and has a responsibility to play a part in the provision of clean energy for the local community, as well as contributing to the UK Government’s commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
Our new solar park in Hadlow now plays an important role in providing electricity for the villages of Five Oak Green and Tudeley, and we are using our own timber for a small biomass district heating system at Hadlow Place Farm.
